Words help a lot.

what does it say on the toggle?

What markings are on the right or left?

Caliber?

Year stampings?

I hate going to albums and looking, when photos can be posted here, but enough humbug;

It is a 1936 Mauser made luger before WW2 started. its serial number includes the suffix, so your sn number is 8426k (if I remember right)

Hi Taylor, It would be easier if you had uploaded your pictures to your post, rather than to your profile. Your Luger is a 1936 S/42, and was made by Mauser, S/42 being Mauser's mfg. code. Your photos are not clear enough for us to assess condition, but it's certainly a valuable family heirloom! Regards, Norm

This gun has been buffed and re blued at least once before and exhibits some poor store rust marks and pitting now.

Shame.
