I have a Luger that my father purchased approximately 45 years ago. It was said to be a officers pistol. It is in mint condition and has the traditional leather holster that fully covers the gun with a leather strap that raised the gun. It has a bone handle and the button on the clip is of the same material. I have never seen one like it. Anyone know anything about this version?

If you can post a photo or two you will likely get some information. Without photo's it's impossible.
A bone handle is not German issue nor commercial. Could be a later USA add on. Look forward to more info about pistol markings and photo's! Jerry Burney Jerry Burney
