Question Mauser Broomhandle Muzzle

Just finished restoring a nice Broomhandle with rust blue/fire blued small parts, and dont remember if the muzzle is supposed to be in the white or rust blued? I just want it to look right. The gun had been previous refinished in salt bluing. It is a standard 5.5" Broomhandle with Crown over U proof mark on left side and the Mauser Name Info on the right side in the 1931XX Serial Range with small groove lines on the stocks. Small hole hammer and 50-1000 Meter Tanget sight. Thanks for information on this nice Pistol

The muzzle is supposed to be bare metal/white.
