Default Help in identifying Swiss Luger

Hello friends,

I'd apreciate very much if you could help me in identifying a Swiss Luger (origin, year...)

It was a gift from a friend a I have it stored 15 years ago.

I've read some info about Lugers but I have not been able of classify it.

In the following link you can find a photo album. I've tried to show as much detail as possible.

The pistol is in mint condition and apparently has never been fired.

Thanks very much for your help and looking forward to read your comments.

Regards,

Joaquin

Sorry, I've tried to upload images, but I get constant errors.

I will keep on trying.

In the meantime I've created an album here http://forum.lugerforum.com/album.php?albumid=127

Your M1906 Swiss #14244 (on receiver) was part of a delivery of 815 pistols from DWM in 1913. Since the full serial does not also appear on the frame, it's my guess that the frame is a later replacement. TH

Tom, thank you very much for your comment. Could you please explain me why do you say the full serial number does not appear on frame? It's a different part the front side where only three digits appear ?

Regards,

Joaquin

Also, there does not appear to be any toggle marking, although the angle and photo is poor. Note the C/N proof on the breechblock and toggle side. All points to a 1920 commercial. The only things Swiss I see are the Bernerprobe and Geneve cross on the barrel and the late Swiss magazine.
