Default Browning High Power magazine question.

Hello

I would appreciate some help on a Browning High Power magazine question.
Just wondering what JI stamped on the bottom and side stood for and when was the magazine made?

Thanks.

Mike

Although not explicitly expressed so, Cliff Law's Inglis Diamond implied Inglis only made a single type of magazine in production from the beginning (i.e. excluding prototypes)...... if I understood correctly.

Page 153 says "Once the early uncertainties regarding dimentions and angle of cartridge presentation were worked out, with the aid of FN's 'Lieutenant' Laloux, there was only one type of magazine made for the Inglis High Power.....An identifying John Inglis 'JI' logo can usually (? not always?) be found stamped on the front of the magazine body, reading either up or down."

So 1944-45
