ajk4 -

You have a Luger that was manufactured by the Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken (DWM) in 1918. During the Weimar period it was also stamped 1920 to show that it was government property. It also has a sear safety installed, which was initially a Prussian State Police requirement in 1933. And this requirement became a National Police requirement in the mid-1930's. Any markings on the grip straps?

ajk4,

You have a nice Luger. Is there a PTV over an eagle stamped on the right side of the barrel?

I believe it is rust. The mag just has the serial number marked on it.

Thanks. No, there isn't a PTV over an eagle on the barrel.
