2 matching mags split up !
At a recent estate sale I purchased a holster with mag sn 3323 f +. (sold it to GT btw. So a week or so later the gun that went into the holster was sold - and lo and behold it was mag 3323 f ! RELAX, the gun was a different sn. So, the once matching mags are now off in different directions. I mentioned the story to the buyer of the gun, and he could care less. In my collecting career, albeit short, this is one weird and unusual situation that I'll probably never see again.

Grappa, if it's of any comfort for you, when ww2 came to an end here in Norway, all K98's where trown in piles, and their bolts into crates. Making thousands of rifles non matching
Yeah.. I know, it's a pitty. And the seller would probably get twice the amount with the other mag.

Years ago I picked up two maching, near mint Hanel police mags, unfortunatly not the Luger. I would never consider breaking this set up, but who knows what the next owner might do.
Also purchased an early Weimar police holster that was serial numbered on the back. Came with a tool that was numbered to the holster. Again, no Luger. Would not break up that set either. I think it is terrible to break up these sets, because you just never know if................ Joe Joe
