Default Gustav is coming

I live only 15 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico in south Louisiana. I realize the storm is many miles away as I type this, but if I wait until it is a sure thing, then it might be too late to get out. So with that in mind, and the fact that I have a son in Atlanta, I am packing up, Lugers and mother-in-law included, and heading east to watch the storm develop in safety.

Mike, you are always welcome to ship your lugers to me. I promise not to sell more than 1 or 2 while in my keeping

Stay safe,

Default Back from Gustav

Well gang, I made it back home from my trip to Atlanta. But I came home to find my beautiful Airstream had fallen victim to the storm. Fortunately nothing in my home was damaged nor was anyone hurt, but this shows the raw power of mother nature. My electric power was just restored a couple of hours ago, so I have a lot of email to catch up on. If you cannot make out the pictures, an enormous branch fell from the top of a tree and went through the roof of the shed and then through the roof of the trailer and came to rest on one of the chairs in the trailer. Fortunately I have insurance on both the shed and trailer.

MIke, Sorry about your storm damage, but I know I am joined by all the regulars in saying we are glad that you, your family and your collection were spared...

Hopefully the insurance company will be fair with you on your compensation.
