Default Strange mark found on s/42

Hi all,

examining my s/42 luger i found the following mark on the right side of the breechblock that looks unusual for me.

Any suggestion or idea?

Thanks and ciao

Hi Alberto,

Perhaps a marking left after rechambering to 9x21mm?

Alberto, That's a new one to me. Quite often unnumbered Imperial armour's spares will have a "crown/a letter" Imperial inspector's marking in that location. TH
