Even though the DWM is rusted, it is complete, the Erfurt has had the stock lug removed and this drops the value considerably. If I had to choose between the two I would go for the DWM.

Both of the guns are starting bids at the very top of their values.

To be fair I will say that luger prices continue to go up and the starting prices of these guns reflect that market.

If you have not looked at the links below please do so before bidding, they reflect the high end of the retail market and give you the max you should pay. If your patient you can find good deals at these sites too but usually you will pay retail.

I'm in agreement with Vern. The DWM is the best of the two. IMO, the Erfurt's stock lug being ground negates any collector value.

In addition to the problem of the ground stock lug, shouldn't a 1916 Erfurt have an "artillery sight notch" on the front of the receiver?

ok thanks everybody. i think i might go for the dwm. the rust isn't too bad. but i might be better off to shop around.
