where do you purchase a collector grade Luger
Hi everyone, I am a newbie and am wondering where is the best place to purchase a collector grade luger. A Black Widow one as well. I am looking for a place that won't screw me over. Sincerely, David

Hi David,
Asside from forum members ( and Ed Tinker i selling quite a lot of very nice pieces right now), the two bigger dealers I would recommend, especially for a beginning collector, are FGS and Simpsons. You will pay a premium for their items, but they are knowlegable, stand behind their items, and I have never heard of anyone who has had a bad experience with them re authenticity of a pistol, that they did not rectify. A search on both this and Jan Still's site will give you some feedback on most of the dealers out there. http://www.fgsfirearms.com/ http://www.simpsonltd.com/ Good Luck, Vince |

cty -- You may pay special attention to the advertisements of a few collectors in the trading section. As mentioned by Vince, Ed Tinker is dumping many nice Lugers to the market. Before long, you may notice you've collected many guns.... my 2 cents, control the pace and only buy those guns that you really love.

Claudio,
Thank you for mentioning Paul Regnier's website Luger-Genesis.com... it will be helpful for our international members.

What about Ralph Shattuck? Isn't he still in business?
