How Much Is My 1916 Erfurt Worth
Hey guys,
I bought this gun for an amount (dont want to say yet) of money and my grandfather said I was crazy for doing so. I spoke with a member of this forum and he told me if I posted pictures you guys could give me a rough appraisal. Thanks so much in advance!! It is a 1916 Erfurt with all matching serials except for the clip, that has a different four digit number. Adam Pik 01 Pik 02 Pik 03 Pik 04 Pik 05 Pik 06 Pik 07 Pik 08 Pik 09 Pik 10 Pik 11 Pik 12 |

Hi Egran,
My ballpark guess would be $1000-$1200. I hope others chime in also. I'm curious to see if Grandpa was right Mike C.

I would agree with Mike, perhaps a bit less with that amount of wear. I tend see them at the shows here in No. FL in similar condition in the $900-1K range, but there are regional pricing differences.

That is one great looking Luger. Congrats.
Regardless what was paid it is still a Luger.

Is the safety lever strawed or blued? What's the bore condition like?
Regardless of finish if the number on the safety matches and it's proofmarked the gun looks like at least a $1200+ gun to me. If you don't mind sharing, what did you pay? |

Here are some Erfurt listings with a retail dealer...usually at the high-end of pricing :

Adam,
Nice looking Luger, do the grips match? they should have the last two digits of the sn# stamped inside the grips. Be careful when removing the grips so you don't chip them. Good luck, Mark |
