Default Rare Brown Navy mag pouch

I was just this past weekend able to stumble accross and fortunately aquire this very rare Imperial Navy Double Magazine pouch.

I was under the false impression that all Imperial Navy items were made in black but this is clear and convincing evidence that this is not so. This opinion is seconded by a top Navy collector, Tom Armstrong.

This pouch is in excellent near new condition. Nicely maker marked and with a somewhat hard to see but wonderful Crown M stamped into the underside of the flap. It is not dated but it is without a doubt WW1 era from the looks of the Crown M.

Imperial Navy double magazine pouches are exceedingly rare to begin with but one in this beautiful brown is a prize indeed.

JERRY

NICE FIND, ESPECIALLY IN THAT COLOR AND CONDITION. Imperial Navy marked makes this pouch outstanding.

Good luck

Joe
