Default lugar pistol

As the result of an interesting trade I became the owner of a lugar pistol. As a colt colector I have never had much interest in other pistols but before I get rid of this gun I would like a little info. It is stamped 1914 on the barrel with a serial number of a5642 under the barrel on the frame. all other parts are stamped with 42. The Bolt? is stamped Efurt and the frame is marked Germany (is this an indication of an export gun?) The grips and mag bottom are wood. The gun appears to be 9mm. Any info that anyone can supply would be welcome.

Default Re: lugar pistol

Jim, the name of the weapon is speller LUGER. can you tell us, were there any accessories, holster, magazine, is the number on the bottom of the mag. the same as on the weapon? What is the overall condition of the weapon, pitting, rusty, dull bore. Was it expensive?
