What Is The Going Price For A Cartridge Counter

Eric, Esq, I have a former client, an Orthopedic Surgeon in Palm Beach who I got intested in lugers, and asked me after scouring my luger library, what would he have to pay for a nice Couterage Counter. Ive seen his 3 kreighoff shotguns in the trunk of his Ferrari. He wanted my test luger rig, but it took me 54years to own one. If anyone could provide the going details of this beauty thats out of my range, you can post or email me. I know he can afford it, as he did four shoulder surgeries on myself and two total knee replacements, on debbie, my wife. 'snookek13@aol.com'

Eric, Cartridge Counters (SN#22400-22450?) are rare and usually command between $25K to $40K (and up) depending on condition. Your orthopedic surgeon will have more trouble finding one for sale than finding the cash to pay for it!

Boy, if I had that problem. I was amazed my the shere beauty of his three Kreighoff, in different calibres,Now that he owns the shotguns, He now is looking for the rarest lugers.Maybe he will settle for the Kreighoff luger, as I beleive a Jewish family once owned the name, am I right?. does anyone know how many of the 50 do you think now survive? Who sold them and for how much, now Ive got to have one! 'DESPERATLY SEEKING CARTRIGE COUNTER'

OH MON DIEUR, $33K for most of us, sticker shock, but lugers are gererally underpriced for their rarety and market, All you have to do is look at the price of American Firearms, a Colt and westerers. Do you think the market and demand will increase. If you had $50,000. to invest in luger or lugers, what would be your choice for investment, one biggy or some pretties?

I would go for the nicest 1902 or 1920 Carbine that I could find. I'd use what was left over for alimony.

Great guessing, I bought a pristene 1920, 9mm Luger Carbine and A&f Leather Carrying Case, from Ralph, last year. And then got a carbine sling from Jerry Burney,'sweet', so time to find a nice '02'

Back in April, Bill Mulliken had #22423 for sale for $30,000. Just last month Clay Dickason had #22448 for sale for $35,000 (I believe he had purchsed it from FGS). Both guns were offered either on this forum or Jan Still's forum. I don't know if either gun is still for sale.

Thank you for the update, Ill pass it along to My Doc Scott. Do you see these appreciating, as much as the other models. I guess it really doesnt matter, for like my test piece, I would hold on forever.For those who own the Rolls Royce, you may never ride it, but having one in you garage is a Touch Of Luger Class, congrads!
