Default A curious Observation...

Just wanted to share an observation that I have noticed that in the last 6 months or so, our registered membership has increased by 300 or more members. Not sure what the increase is all about, but I am sure the forum's reputation for being helpful to new members has a lot to do with it.

Thanks to all the "regulars" that make being part of this forum and associated with gentlemen (and ladies) who share their collective knowledge an honored privilege.

Our registered membership as of this posting is FOUR THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND SEVENTEEN... At this rate, we should easily break the 5000 mark by Fall!

I'll second that!

I've learned so much over the past couple of years about Lugers (and other things) from the good gentlemen of this forum that I could never repay the debt of gratitude. All I can do is donate once in a while to the sites maintenance and try to help the newbies with easy questions.

Thanks a million to all of you who've helped me learn about these wonderful guns. You know who you are...

Ditto.
I can't imagine trying to learn all that I have about our hobby from reading books. It would take many many years, and a lot would be left out.

PS. My check is in the mail.

I think the magic recipe for this forum, is a dash of humor and friendly tone combined with good 'management' and a heck of a lot of knowledge

-you should listen when someone is bragging, because then you know that it comes from the heart.

I want to commend all the regulars who treat collecting as fun and informative. I know of no other alternative of both learning and airing there opinions and views, share, share alike. Democracy at is finest!

Easy question. Knowledge and integrity.
