Nikola,
Welcome to the Forum, and thanks for showing us your very nice German pistol collection. It is always good to find a new collector in another country with whom to correspond. I believe you are first member from Croatia. Could you tell us what the gun laws are like in your country, so we have a better appreciation for what your collecting efforts entail? --Dwight |

It would also be of interest to know what handguns are currently being manufactured in Coatia. Sarco has recently advertised 3 models in the SGN from the former Yugosalvia. I particularly like the compact version of the Tokarev in 9mm. TH

Welcome, and thanks for sharing the picture of your nice collection. Always great to have something other than text to look at
Is the navy barrel matching in numbers to the byf?

We have modern factory in town Karlovac. It is HS Produkt who made HS pistol, an export to USA. Sprinfield Armory sell them like SA XD pistol. They are in 9 mm Luger, 40 s&W, .357 SIG, and .45 ACP. I own HS45. HS Produkt is the first weapon factory in Croatia. When We was in Yugoslavia, the only gun factory was Crvena Zastava. They made Yugoslav TT M57 7,62 x 25 mm, C/ M70 (.32 ACP & .380 Auto), CZ 88 TT in 9 mm Luger, AK (M70), CZ99, CZ999, M48 and other weapon. Our pride is HS (SA XD)!

You have every reason to be proud of the SA XDs. I have one in .40 S&W and one in .45 ACP and love them both. Again, welcome aboard. We look forward to hearing more from you.

You got your DWM cheap
Mine is in fairly good condition with all matching parts except the magazine. The only thing that bothers me is a broken takedown lever, but since this is my first Luger, I wasn't too exclusive. The lever is still functional, it only looks ugly. |
