Mystery Luger magazine
Gentlemen,
This magazine was in an Erfurt 1918 that came to this country with an SOE-agent during WW2. I do not know for certain if the magazine was present at that time or if it was matched with the pistol at a later stage. I have never seen anything like it. It does look kind of home-made and there are no markings present. It also feels lighter than the real thing. Does anybody have a clue? Balder |

It has the earmarks of a comercially manufactured postwar reproduction.

Balder, Definately a repro. It would appear to be a 20+ year old Triple K. TH

Definitely a cheap repro... most likely mexican made... I think triple K had their original Luger mags made there... if you get up close, you would think that they were made by convicts with files...

John, As you know the early 3K mags were marked "Mexico". Now they're made in San Diego by the same Mexicans. I told a customer of mine who has a buiness in Roswell, N.M. that he should mark his products "made in USA by aliens". Probably correct, if you think about it. TH
