Hi bought a 1916 luger and it came with an FXO mag (aluminum bottom) and a eqr 42 holster with WaA 750 markings. Did a little research and found that it was manufactured at - G Passier Sohne, Sattlerwarenfabrik, strasse de S.A. Hannover 1W Niedersachen.
It has one repair on the flap that appears to have been done professionally perhaps at the factory to repair a very neat cut perhaps made by error during it manufacture. It is very good condition, anyone willing to this type of holster an approx value? thank you! Mike |

Before anyone can give an accurate est. you would need to post some pictures. I have a 42 P08 and would be interested in a trade for my 41 holster let me know if you have any interest.

Actually, I would prefer a WWI era P08 holster (1916 would be perfect) or a 1941 P38 holster. I will post some pictures soon.

I may have something that we might trade.
I have two WWI holsters. a 1915 and a 1917. Both have some issues. Jerry |

Mine has an issue too. It is cut on the flap, but expertly repaired - perhaps a war-time or factory repair.

Mike, I have a 1916 Hilt & Elsasser Stuttgart I can part with.
Have two issues; the strap to lift the gun is missing + converted into web attachment (belt loops are gone). Besides these issues, the holster is in good condition. Could be a very nice holster if this is fixed up.. Let me know if iterested. btw.. it's off topic, but perhaps starting a holster exchange thread, like the magazine lottery is a good idea? -I'm currently searching for a decent holster for a 41 byf

Steiner,
I think I will hang on to the 42 dated holster for now. In a way, it could be correct for the gun in that during the war, the original holster for the 1916 could have needed replacement and the 42 was what was issued - repairs and all. Best regards, Mike |
