Hello LugerForum
As you can see I live in the UK and as you may well know "they" - HMG -make it as difficult as possible to own pistols over here (since Dunblane I had to hand-in my Model 29 Dirty Harry and Colt Woodsman)). But this has not stopped me from building up an ecletic (so I am told) "Heritage Pistol Collection" including quantity one P '08 DMW 1917, all matching... including the wooden mag grip. I currently have the opportunity of a near identical P '08, circa 1915, all atching but the mag plus a bit more blue and holster; owned by the same wealthly Bristol family that my Fosbery came from - but this dealer wants twice the price for the 1915 than I paid for the 1917 about three years ago. What should I pay for a 1915? Should I bite his arm off? What's a 1915 worth in your part of the world? DCCUK |

David,
Welcome to the forum. Here's a link to a web site that will give some idea of prices from US dealer. Tom http://www.simpsonltd.com/index.php?cPath=1_7 |

Hello Tom
Many thanks for the link....... Simsons have certainly got some good stuff and the prices of the 1915s(Cat No 96 etc) are just about USD for UKP as the asking price (Maybe the dealer loooked at this site?) including a holster - which I think is a bit later. I'm going to have to do some more homework before I part with my hard earned cash. BR DCCUK |

David, welcome again. I have two DWM 1915 Lugers. One is in mint condition, all numbers matching with holster and tool. Cost 1.480 Euro, the second is a shooter with 60 % blue, barrel not top, but good, the magazine is not matching. Cost 470 Euro. Take a look at www.egun.de it`s a good source for informations. Thomas
