Default new here..got a 1914 erfurt need a little info

i got a 1914 artillery erfurt luger...its dated 1914 on top of the reciver..im going to snap some pics of it...but i been offerd alot of stuff for it lately...its in great shape..no rubs..no dings..great blueing..still has straw on trigger and saftey..the serial number is 4###..and under the barrel its marked 8.83..all numbers match..from one end to the other of the gun..i got it too shoot about 8 years ago..and stopped shooting it cause the clip would kick out the bottom when i fired...only proublem it had..plus it was in such fantasic shape i figured i was wasiting cash by shooting it..thing was accurate thats for sure..lol...i would say,,95 to 99% blueing or more....im being offerd about 2,000 for it...should i jump on the offer? or will i be burned?

Hyena429, if this Erfurt Artillery is as good as you say it is, and photographs that we all could see would assure to that, then $2000 is too low! These lugers, especially with matching magazines, are going for over $3000!

I picked up a mismatched and pitted 1917 DWM artillery for $1250 20 years ago. Shoots great and I've used it in High Power Silhouette. Your Erfurt should go for 4K+. (Then again, I saw a duplicate to my gun 20 yrs ago going for 3K. It was 100%, New, unfired, in a case.) Should go for 5K+ now.
