Steinar, The crown over a letter on your side plate, is a typical Imperial military inspector's mark, usually found on most parts of an Erfurt assembled PO8. But since your part is unnumbered, probably a WW1 era spare part, which if made by Mauser would have been marked 42 or S/42. Strangely enough, many of these Imperial spares were used on some of the early production (1934 & 35) production PO8s, and then again in WW2 armour's spare parts kits. TH

Thanks Tom!
I was told it was a "Kongsberg" mark, but I has also come to beleve it was a regular imperal mark. Now I know for sure ![]()
