Not a great buy but a good buy (would have been even better at about $1K less). An early example that hasn't been fiddled with much (other than the hokey sling snap on the cheekpiece loop). One could spend their money a lot less wisely. If the mainspring is broken but all the parts are there, it can be repaired. It would be a bear fashioning a new one, but still within the bounds of reason.

Hi Ron

That is an original Borchardt sling hook on the cheek piece ploop, the gun could restored very nicely,
