Default Left Handed Holsters?

Were any left handed Luger holsters made - in either war or commercially? I have seen some LH repros, but never the real deal.

Thx

P.S. Wasn't AH himself left-handed?

I'm pretty sure that left or right handed, you learned to shoot right handed. So there was no need for a holster on the left hip.

If you take a look at period photo's you will notice many German Soldiers wore the Luger holster on their left hip towards the front of the body. This facilitated the withdrawal of the pistol with the right hand and put the holster in a much more convenient position for carry. Lifting the strap with the left hand while withdrawing with the right. You will see this type of carry more often than on the right hip.
I have never seen a left handed German Luger holster, commercial or Military. Might be some but I have never seen it.
I believe Sarco made a bogus Cavalry model that was left handed or reversed anyway.
