Default ~Fruitless Bear hunt~

Well, skunked again. Went out to see if we could bag a Bruin. No luck!

These were taken in the Coast Range of the Cascades about 40 miles away. Bear love these huge clear-cuts to forage in. Also great Deer and Elk country.





The Bottoms.



The fire-plug with the .375 H&H is my buddy Dennis.



"The Grey Ghost". Retired civil servant, ladies man and suave, all around nice guy.



It pays to carry close-in protection. You never know when something is going to jump out and grab you. We have lots of Cougars and assorted Nasty Grabbers, and you might run on to someone harvesting their "crops".
