Bought my 1917/18 Erfurt from Charlie Justman (Checkpoint Charlie's). Gun was as advertised, except "matching" mag was only a number match, not suffix. Holster was excellent.

He's a businessman. His prices seem relatively low (read: reasonable), so he's not much into haggling--if you broach the subject, politeness counts.

Call him up, he appreciates the personal contact.

I look forward to buying from him again.

Bought two Lugers from Checkpoint Charlie's. Guns were received exactly as described; no issues. Positive experience.

Hi:

The Model 34 Berretta I purchased from him was exactly as advertised.

Turnaround on the transaction was also fast.

hmmm, John's words, I like "Moderator who cares"... but then that makes it sound like John D and John S don't care!

So, maybe "Moderator extraordinaire"?

Or "Ed the almost knowing Moderator"?

Or "Ed who uses Janâ??s books and sounds like he knows something Moderator"

LOL!! No, I think Super Moderator best describes you. I can just see you now in gunmetal blue tights and bright red cape with a big "S" on your chest with an Arty Luger on your side...
