Artillery Mag Question
I have a matching 1918 artillery DMW Luger marked Germany (sn 1007c). It came with the holster and 2 mags. Neither mag is marked. Is this usual for commercial Artillery Lugers or not?

Hairy, It is not uncommon to find unmarked wood bottom mags on early commercial pistols. It is the norm for really early commercials. Yours is not a commercial however. If the chamber is marked 1918 it started life as a Military. Later it was exported to an English speaking country and the Made in Germany was marked on it for that reason. This pistol should have two serialed magazines. Or at least at one time it did. Jerry Burney
