Wonders Never Cease
Several years ago I bought a G-Date E/211 Luger from Peter (lugercollector). About 6 months age I traded Herb (drbuster) a DE/63 Magazine for his G-Date (close to his serial number), for a DE/211 Magazine only 100 numbers off my G-date. I was in hog heaven!!
Several weeks ago, I received an email from Peter asking me if I knew anyone that had a G-Date 2741d because he had a matching magazine for it and he knew I was collecting G-Date Data (Note: I have only collected numbers, not owners). Well, guess what; it was the magazine to the Luger he sold me several years ago. It now resides in it's Luger Home!!! Both items came from Canada, but were acquired from two different individuals!! Like I always say, I would rather be lucky than good any day of the week!!! Just thought you would like to know - wonders never cease!!! |

Frank,
* Eureka !! The proverbial needle in a haystack score. * I'm thrilled for ya & it just goes to show it can happen. * Fellows: get your non matching dust bunnies mags from out under the back stash & report these mags either on this Forum's thread http://forum.lugerforum.com/showthre...&threadid=5678 or to Don Hallock @ drh@oz.net. * And again...Atta boy Frank!! |

Congratulations, Frank. It couldn't happen to a better guy.

If it weren't for the Internet, and this forum, matches like this would only be made in heaven
Congrats Frank...
