Default I`M Pixxed off....

I really am....
D`you wanna know why???
Here`s the story.

Several days ago the weather was beutiful, thus me & my friend went to the city park and drunk couple of beers. On my way home I heard somebody calling my name.I looked back and saw an acquaintance of mine and a guy (better said BOY `cause I`d rate him 17-18 years old max.)standing beside with a plastic bag in his hand.
I came up to them.

Now,as much as I remember the talk.....

Acquaintance:There`s a pistol for sale.Want to take a look?
Me:Sure! Why not?
Boy:>opening that plastic bag<It`s a WALTHER!(Proudly!)
Out of that bag comes a P08 Luger with 4"barrel
The gun was one mass of rust.Seeing it from a distance
one might think it`s watergun 1:1scale replica made
of red plastic.Truly, even the grip panels were red like a brick.
I tried to open the toggle(frozen)then I tried to take the mag
out(also frozen)but looking at that gun I somewhat knew
that if I `d soak it in a good solvent,2-3 days would be nuff
to make it operable. That`s how I revived my 1895 Nagant

Me:It`s a P08 Luger
Boy: No! it`a a Walther!I know about guns (LOL!)
Me :Want to bet?
Boy :I don`t have to bet,because I know it`s a Walther
Me:OK!So be it.How much?
Boy:360 Euros!
Me:Are you F...... nuts?

After some talk he cut the price in half making it
166 Euro.
All I had on me was 95 Euro
Me:Look man, It`s all I`ve got .I don`t think you`ll get any better price, because this gun needs someone who knows and uses TLC when guns are involved.
So,take it or leave it.
Boy:I`m sure it`s a Walther and I know somebody who loves Walthers. Well then if you can`t pay 166 Euro.. the deal is off!
Me :Fine!(in my thoughts-F..k you!) Anyway, you`re making a fool of yourself!

Time for conclusions:
1.There are some lucky morons who find Lugers and
make themselves "gunexperts" by claiming "It`s a Walther"
2.A good piece of history is going to rust because a moron
must have a good deal.
3.Because of my pathetic salary one P08 will prolly rust
into pieces. (

As in the subject.....
I`m pixxed off.....

Regards

P.S The prices mentioned will probably make you laugh but there are countries where people earn just a little bit more than nothing.

well, look at it this way, what would you do with it? Yes, I know, I'd like to play with it too, but you could probably get a real/unrusted one for how much more than a 160 euros....

Just think of it as a rusty Luger. I look at this sort of thing as "Was'nt meant to be." Then I get "unPixxed Off".

Ed, I think that you and me are the only ones "Lazy Assin'" it around today. Wanna go have a beer?

Yes I do, although Glen (triggerxxx) and I are going to lunch in 30 minutes. Want to meet us?

I sure would like to. Wished we live closer together.

I'm off for the next 5 days. This retirement / part time job thing is a killer.
Don't know if I can handle it for the next 30 or 40 years. I'll just have to butch-up and try.

Hmm,

With a magazine rusted in place and a toggle rusted shut, let's hope one of the Walther experts doesn't try to get the trigger going while looking up the barrel.

Ron, I'll have a beer with you. I'm at my office but I can go down to the Bier Stube for awhile.

Hey Geo, I'll jump on my bike and be there in a few. Just exactly where the hell is Virginia again? MAN!! I wish I could.

We need to get together. I'll teach you how to be a semi-liberal sponge cake. Got any tennis shoes?
