Default EBAY: What's wrong with them ??

Hello All,

I am happy to announce that I've been suspended from Ebay !! They say I did not follow their Guidelines. I am totally blocked & they deleted my 7-8 Auctions due to close tomorrow. One of which had 14 ``watchers`` ( a very nice P08 Commercial mag ). Quite a cheap way of doing it and I am quite angry at them. To those watchers do they email you to explain ??

Did anybody had similar ``negative`` experiences with Ebay in the last few months ?? Guidelines changed a lot since last year.....

A some here on the Forum know, I had parts & some accessories FS from time to time........Till I find another Auction site to advertize, I'll have to stand still........If anyone here was watching ``my stuff`` please send me a PM / Email & we'll get a deal going.....

Anyone has recommendations for a site to sell those small things ??

Thanks for the help,

MARK

I have some posted in the FS section.....

I have never been suspended, I have had magazines ended because I didn't state it was less than 10 rounds. I know guys that have had them ended after they posted a swastika...

I have listed on the Trader board at www.gunboards.com

Marc, I am thinking you had something I wanted, a holster or something?

Ed

ALSO, I beleive that suspension doesn't last that long. Besides, you could always use another e-mail address and different credit card...

As an example of their hitting sellers recently.

I see this was just posted and already pulled:

4mm Conv Kit For 9mm Luger Pistol, 4" Bbl, NIB, NR $65.00
- Feb-12 21:00

This listing (7129683390) has been removed by eBay or is no longer available. Please make sure that you've entered the item number correctly.
If the item was removed by eBay, please consider this transaction canceled. If anybody contacts you to complete the sale, please ignore the request. Completing the sale outside of eBay may be unsafe and will not be covered by eBay purchase protection programs

Mark, Gunbroker seems to be the auction site of choice for those who run afoul of the small minded eBay snitch Police. You would think they could look at a Luger mag and see it could holds no more than 8 rounds but sadly, they cannot. They are a huge business like Wallmart and seemingly nothing can stop them. Run by pimple headed young liberals in San Francisco. They feel free to turn down any business they find "offensive".

Anything I am seriously interested in I ask the seller a question immediately. This provides a link to the sellers Email address and even if they cancel the auction I can always contact the seller. I have bought many items by contacting the seller and making an offer. Often they will sell it to you and stop the auction. Screws eBay but that is a hobby of mine.
I have seen much more of this happening on the Dagger Forum where the evil swastica is more often seen. Many Dagger sellers have been hassled and kicked off. I believe the suspension lasts for 90 days or more and it is a big pain in the Kiester to get back on using your old info.
One other suggestion is to use the want adds like you are but post prices. If prices are posted it will generate much better interest and weed out Emails asking about price.

Thumbs up GunBroker

Marc,
Jerry beat me to it so I will second his recommendation of GunBroker. I have used them quite bit with good results. I get daily Email notifications from them on my "Saved Searches" for parts as well as guns. I think they are better than AuctionArms, another option.
