http://www.antiquearmsshow.com/Events/events.html
Noticed the Las Vegas collector's shows have moved to the Mandalay resort...may change where folks stay for future gun shows... Regards, Pete... |

Pete, at $249-$269 a night you sure won't see me staying at the Mandalay! This could be a real problem, The Regency was right across the street from Circus-Circus and you can get a room there for $25 a night which made it and ideal place to stay. Staying there now will make it really difficult to get to the show, finding parking on the strip is difficult at best. Taking the shuttle would be about the best way to get there if you don't mind traveling like a sardine in a can.

Hello Herb,
I am with you. Liked to stay at Circus-Circus and just walk across the street to the Riveria... Mandalay Bay does have lots of parking and I recall it being free...so one could still drive in from Circus-Circus... The Luxor is a quick walk from Mandalay and being an older property, do have some inexpensive rooms...but they were pretty run down about 6 months ago... I wonder how the table pricing at the new Mandalay Bay show will be structured and wonder if that will affect prices of guns on the tables...? Regards, Pete... |

Pete, At Benefeld's table prices, you can't afford to waste space on cheap items. I understand that the Jan O5 show is the same weekend as the next SHOT show, so perhaps I'll make that one. TH

Tom, I understand that to get into the Shot Show one has to have a DEALERS license and they will not accept a C&R, is that correct?

Will there be a LF dinner as in Reno? we may come over for a night or two, the 21st is our 30th anniversary and Mrs.PL wants to spend it in Vegas...preferably without me, but I think Hallmark lists a Luger as a 30 year anniversary gift, and I am over due for one. Ed get out of cold Colorado and come on down.

Howard, for work I will be in New Orleans that weekend! So, although I can't think of "much" funner things to do but spend time with y'all, I can't make it!
