WW I Magazines
Were any of the wood bottom magazines from the WW I era ever blued, or were they all nickle in appearance? Thanks

All Imperial meaning WWI and earlier were nickle or tin plated with wood bottoms. Blued bodies with wood bases are Weimar transition mags before going to aluminum bases. You will even find nickle tubes with aluminum bases.
