Russ
L.Kg.205. signifies Landjagerei (rural police) Konigsberg (district) weapon no. 205. What is the serial number of the Luger and details of the markings? Jan C. Still |

Boy Jan, this is amazing, I assume your database is something else, and your tired eyes!
I finally ordered your Third Reich era book, I can't wait for it to come, sorry it took me so long . Had to order it used, which I think is a good sign! Anyway, this forum can be amazing with the shared information, I can't imagine the time shaved off by this compared to the old methods. Thanks to all,

Herb
Documents and listings for Prussian State Police unit markings are found on page 206 of THIRD REICH LUGERS and on pages 195-197 of WEIMAR LUGERS. Jan C. Still |

Ed,
Glad you got the book. You will spend many happy hours with this one! I need to order another one myself as mine has traveled all over the world with me a couple of times while on long term assignments and is getting a little worn now. It has been with me in India, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, and Canada. Now it is with me while on assignment for the next several months, but at least I am close to home this time.
