Good one? 1920 rework

I would like to get opinions on this one... Haven't received yet but price seems acceptable.

The color of the receiver behind the sideplate seem off? Also on the front grip strap? Cold blue?

Nice ERFURT double date, the price would seems fair to me, unfortunately as reblued collectors think of it as a restored, not an orginal.

the 1920 'rework' moniker is an old term, as is the double date - as the 1920 isn't a date for rework or otherwise.

This collector does not think of a reblued Luger as "restored". It is just reblued.

A "restored" Luger is one which has been found to be in a seriously deteriorated condition, and has been brought back to as-new condition, often by the addition of new metal and careful remaking of the pistol's original surface configuration.

Declaring a Luger to be "restored" REQUIRES knowing it's original deteriorated condition, and the name of the craftsman who performed the work.

Although a very small collector a Luger that got "rechambered" or "reblued" is not original, so it has no appealing, period.
Then I'm glad to accept your explanation of the word "restored" although in my humble opinion if a Luger with a bad blueing is being "reblued" I would consider it as restored to its pristine condition, but still "restored".
