S42 luger y suffix #6186 1937
Here are some quick images of a 1937 S42 luger with a y suffix and serial # 6186. The mags do not match but may be a close time period type 2 mags ?. Condition is very nice has two droop wing on receiver and has hump. All visible numbers matched, however I did not field strip it. The luger and accessories belong to the historian for Brockington & Associates in Mt. Pleasant SC with his permission to post his war trophy here. The holster is rotten and told him never to store in it. He overheard my conversation about my Lugers High Power and other WWII guns and brought it to photograph.

A good honest war horse of a pistol in pretty nice shape considering what happened to the holster! thanks for sharing.
