I just followed the link to take a peek. I thought that the web page heading was humorous, considering his offer.

this gun and seller have indeed been discussed before... the only thing I can figure is that the battries in the calculator that he uses for valuing the guns he is selling must be several magnitudes over the recommended voltage

Forum Members,
I have found the elusive bayonet which matches this fine hunting carbine: Luger Carbine Bayonet It is a little known fact that Turkish "miracle" vets returning from Korea would often hunt deer with a bayonet affixed Luger carbine (It's TRUE, I read it on the internet). I'm about $150,399.99 short of this amazing combo, so I figured I'd pass this buying opportunity along to you all. Awaiting my finder's fee, Jack

The REAL prize is that special "Hollywood" Luger Georg worked so hard on that shoots 20 rounds without reloading.

ratdog, It's just priced too high period. Original carbines are very expensive. However, this one has an incorrect stock.(Artillery Luger)
And if the rest is correct and original?? The price would be about 1/10th, give or take, of what he has it priced for. Ron

RD, it simply comes down that they either screwed up in the pricing, an idiot told them the value, or they are an idiot.

The bayonet auction, is'nt an auction. It's a condensed version of WAR and PEACE.
