Default Refinished and not many marking left

I know its a 9mm as I measured it with calipers. It has DWM on top and a Crown N. the serial number reads 711XX Here are the pics. Any thoughts on it would help.

welcome to the forum!

commercial luger, could have been made and used in WW1

can you find a 'germany' stamped on it? I would expect no and does the extractor say anything on it?

Nothing on the extractor that I can see. Any idea if these were sold anywhere with this kind of refinishing already done? How about the year this was made?

I would like an idea of the value if anyone knows. Trying to sell this for an elderly lady whose husband passed away. I dont want to let this go for too little yet I am aware that since its been refinished it probably isnt worth a whole lot.

A shooter 9mm is almost always worth $500 and usually up to $700

and no, it was refinished by someone

Seems like a pretty good refinish job? I have seen alot worse attempts.

Thank you for your help by the way.

Default well, it is pretty and will look good for your friends...

mine don't care about the collectable status of them, but really do enjoy the style of my lugers......
