Indy 1500 report.
Attended the Indy 1500 in Indianapolis. In short if you were looking for Lugers you went to the wrong show! 1500 tables and a measly three Lugers! The first was a 1918 Erfurt Police rework, but the seller swears that it was made as a police from the factory 80% $895. I passed! The second was a very nice 1920 alphabet Commercial an easy 96% for $750, but missing the mag. <img border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" title="" src="graemlins/cussing.gif" /> I passed! Ended up taking home a decent byf 41 with two FXO mags and a "AUWAERTER & BUBECK STUGGART" 1939 dated holster for $1k I figured the holster and mags at $400 and the byf at $600. I was plesaantly supprised to fing the bakelite grips are good!
