Default A Nut!

Fellow Collectors,

I have attached the following email correspondence with Shlomo Helinski of GunsAmerica LLC. This man is not playing with a full deck. He believes that the guns take on the spirit of the shooter. Please read the following messages:

Shlomo,

You have joined the anti-gun crowd with the argument that the gun bears the responsibility of the shooter. Pretty bad company you keep there, son.

It appears that you have bent to the peer pressure and have become politically correct (wave Old Glory and curse the Jew hating Nazis). Their slant is this: if the luger had not been readily available, the Nazis would not have come to power.

Please write this down: Guns don't kill people; People kill people.

Wesley Terrell

I would read what I wrote rather than just skim it, then think about what it says. I think you will find if you think it through that not only do your comments have nothing to do with the position I have taken, but it is exactly the opposite. You have opened your mouth without thinking. It's an unfortunate by-product of the same society that considers owning these guns an expression of the second amendment.

Shlomo

Shlomo,

I think that you should also re-read your own diatribe on the "evil" Luger; how it embodies the evil deeds of the Nazi. The anti-gun groups say the exact same thing, that the gun is the evil object that causes the person to

commit evil deeds such as murder.

You have portrayed the American guns as doers of good deeds and the German guns as doers of evil deeds. This is preposterious and you know it. This is no more that flag-waving.

The history of the Luger pistol is much greater than the roll in which it was used during WWII. It was not manufactured during the years of the second world war and different pistol was developed by the Nazi for their

use during this period. The Luger is associated with Imperial Germany.

I assure you that I did not "skim" your message. You condemn the gun as embodying the intent and moral of the shooter.

By the way, your comments as to my rash actions of opening my mouth are juvenile. I could call you an ignorant bastard also, but that accomplishes nothing.

You have joined the ranks of the anti-gunners. No amount of obfuscation will camoflage your position.

Regards,

Wesley Terrell

What can I say, I'm humbled by your greatness. For sure physical objects never take on spiritual properties or have any relationship to the manner in which they are used. I'm such a fool. I better find all those people who collect the lawman guns from the old west with the notches. They should be notified that the market is going to fall out of their investment when news of your brilliance surfaces and propogates all over.

Whew, thanks for setting me straight.

I work at a middle school. We have a school wide network - every kid with a lap top. Undesirable web sites are blocked. For the record, gunsamerica is blocked, Luger Forum isn't. From this there can be no doubt who is evil and who isn't.
