Purchase advice
I have an opportunity to purchase an all matching except mag 1940 42 code luger that is 90% with a nice bore. The seller is wanting $1100

If the gun has all original finish and is truly 90% condition that's more than a fair price..

Well, I said I was interested and the seller sold it with out notification less than 24 hrs after making me the offer.

K, I've never heard of a 24 hour hold of an offer. Without a deposit, the seller is free to sell it to someone else, while you're still standing in his shop. That happened to me once at a gun show years ago: I offered an HK VP70Z to a woman @$250 and she counter offered $200, when the man standing next to her said he'd take it at $250. SOLD. TH
