Default luger salesman's case

Hi all..Does anyone have any info on the cary case that salesman used to peddle lugers in the early 1900's? ie where they were made? USA or Germany? and any markings to look for on the case/ clasps? I have come across one in very good condition which makes me think it's a repro. Will let you know what it says on the clasp when I look at it again, but pretty sure it's made in USA...
