Re: Luger of the Month
Thor,
If I can get anymore information on the pistol, I will try, and if so, I will post this on the Forum. It will probably be this weekend before I get more info. Marvin |

Re: Luger of the Month
I imagine there is a wonderful tale of intrigue behind that Luger. If the weapon could only talk, what a story! Well done!

Re: Luger of the Month
Why must this Luger be "hidden from public view"? I am sorry if I am ignorant, but I am not sure why someone could not own these items? Is it against the law to own these items in a certain country or countries?

Re: Luger of the Month
Yes it is and if found it might be destroyed. Sounds like what happened in several countries overseas huh? Ever see the NRA special on Great Britain and Australia? Scary stuff! Marvin can't tell you more without possibly getting the owner in trouble, let's leave it at that! Lets keep America strong so it doesnt happen here! Thor

Thor is right. Possession of this unregistered Luger
in the country of the owner is crime more than likely punishable by more than just confiscation. When you vote, make sure you vote Pro-gun to make sure that it doesn't happen here. If the democrats and liberals and ACLU get their way, the only guns you have here will be plastic models like they have in Japan, and photographs.

Re: Luger of the Month
Roscoe,
Thor & John are correct about not telling more about the pistol. The country it is located in would confiscate the pistol and destroy it. It is just a shame that this pistol can't be shown in a museaum. I bet there are very few authenticated Gestapo pistols in existance. I don't know if the original owner had any family, but they MAY not want it know that he was Gestapo. Marvin |
