1944 P08 Luger Holster
If anyone is interested, I am auctioning a 1944 P08 Luger Holster on gunbroker.com. I believe that it is an uncommon holster.
My grandfather brought a Walther P38 pistol back from WWII in this holster and I recently realized that it did not belong to it. The holster is marked WaA101 cdg (Auvaerter und Bubeck Stuttgart). I do not have a take down tool for it. |

I can't see the entire reverse side. Is there a mark indicating the P 38 instead of 08? I know it's a dumb question. But, another thread stated that these hard shells were made in 1942 & 1943 for P 38's but not in 1944. So what's the rest of the story?

The stamp is P08. i'll post a picture tomorrow. I came across and old thread of someone with the same holster that also had a p-38 in it. I'm not sure how that came to happen.

There is no doubt that this is a Luger P08 holster. I would like to see a photo of the inside..You can just see the stitching from the tool pouch on the top..P-38 holsters don't have tool pouches!
