That's a Browning P35 or "Hi-Power"

And it looks very nice but it's not a Luger.

I'm sure someone around here can give you some more specific info.

It has the desirable "commander" style hammer...can't see the back of the grip frame, but if it is slotted for a shoulder stock and if it had a tangent rear sight, it would be one of my "I want one!" pistols...

Ah! He does indeed have a Luger...and the HP, and a P38, and another P38...
