Hi All,

I recently became interested in researching info here on Kreighoff lugers. I went back to postings for 1 year and started reading.

Most of the images in those old posts were gone

Is there a point at which the images drop off??
Or was this a result of a host server problem?

I am trying to get as much eyeball time on the Kreighoffs as I can! <img border="0" alt="[jumper]" title="" src="graemlins/jumper.gif" />

Hello Fritz,

I may be off a bit, but I heard the photos disappear after a 2-3 months. I hope John D. or John S. can confirm the exact timing.

A very good HK luger book is the Krieghoff Parabellum, written by Randall Gibson.

Here is a link to Bob Simpson's gun shop, that list this book, new, for sale on their web site :

This book is excellent to teach one the details/features of the many HK models and even has detailed comparisons with other luger makers such as DWM, Mauser, Simpson, etc.

There are also many good back & white photos of all the HK model years...

If you have specific HK questions, feel free to post on the HK section and some of the more knowledgable HK folks here on the Luger Forum will certainly help you out.
