Default Interesting Holster

This holster is not in very good shape. Someone, very poorly, replaced the mag pouch and the cleaning rod flap is missing. However, the holster is a reichsrevolver conversion. Then cleaning rod holder added for Weimar Era. The only marking I can find is on the outside body, under the flap. It is R.13.23. The last 3 was overstamped on a smaller 2. Possibly another R preceding the R. I have never seen another reichsrevolver conversion with a 1934 type cleaning rod arrangement?

Bill, Very nice holster! I have never seen all that many RR/Luger conversion holsters but I think your correct..not many with the cleaning rod assembly in the top.

Hi Bill,
a nice find. Jan Still has another altered RR holster with the added rod holder in his book WEIMAR LUGERS. His holster was by Eckard Ulm and has a unit mark of the 20th Ulanen (lancers).
Regards from Germany

Considering how long that holster (or various parts of it) was in service it is remarkable that the condition is as good as it is.
