Tac, You are very welcome.

Simpsons is a bit cheaper. However, regretfully not very much. Prices on Luger accoutrements have gone berzerk. I sincerely hope that you enjoy your visit to Oregon. And I hope to meet you at the Reno gunshow. I understand that you were going to be there?

Tac,
I will check another source that may be available to me. I will check his prices. Hopefully a bit more reasonable. Are you in need of a stick wing eagle or a droop wing? I believe he may have both variations.
If I am successfull I will bring it to Reno for you. If not I will let you know.

You may want to look at one of the East German ones the Luger Doc has for sale. They are good tools and cost much less.

Tac,

You are going to Reno! What wonderful news! My decision to draw down my meager reserves to finance a trip to that show was driven by the desire to see old friends and meet face-to-face some of the great folks I have known only through this forum. If you are among them that is really the icing on the cake! Hope to see you and the rest of the gang there.

Elatedly

Ron

Tac, I have most Mauser proofed original mags & loading tools in stock. Which one is on you BYF (E/655 or E/135)? Please advise. TH

Tac,

Naturally I am devastated that my hopes for a meeting have been dashed. However I trust that you will enjoy your trek about the Northwest immensely. In Reno I shall quaff an additional adult beverage in your honor and lament your absence.

remorsefully

Ron

Tac, If your wife is like most, the fact that Reno has gambling to keep her busy while you attend the gun show, may prove to be an incentive. I have heard that the Reno show, is still the best one "in California". TH

See now T, I am not the only who thinks you need to move your magnificent personage, as well as your most vernerated and delightful SHE to this humble bit of the former colonies.
Now, as has been evidenced by recently recovered paintings of Ig himself crossing the delaware and having a paddle with old George, I am sure Himself would not mind moving here. And you must remember, travel from the GNW to the GWN is a matter of swapping letters, no trouble at all.
Once we get you here, you will not want to leave.
L, SHE, Woodrow, and Marlborough, not to mention the rest of the boys.

Tac,

Yes, when you get to Orygon, just make yourself at home and stay. We need more of your dry humor in our society (and your Luger knowledge close at hand). You could make a fortune on TV.

I received this e-mail from tac: "I wonder if I could ask you to post this piccie for me? The so-called 'original', hanging in the MMoA is plainly a thinly-disguised travesty - an amateurish daub - of the original which clearly shows our family Ig doing his bit for the budding Republic."

The accompanying picture clearly shows the role of the family Ig in American Independence - so without further ado, I present "Ig Crossing the Delaware"

LOL!

This original painting clearly shows that victory was inevitable with a crew such as this!
