byf 42
I have just seen this byf 42 on a dealer site over here in England.
I am not thinking of buying it, but i would like to ask about the large '2' in the date stamp, it seems to be much bigger than the '4'. Has anyone seen this before.........? I also noticed that the extractor is not numbered, so it is not a trully matching piece, which is how it is advertised. Many thanks, Steve.

Hi Steve, the "2" in 42 seems okay, but the lack of a numbered extractor means it has been replaced after it was accepted from the factory. Good Eye!!

Many thanks Frank.
I see now that the bottom of the '2' is level with the base of the vertical stroke on the '4'. Thanks for the quick reply. Steve.
