1941 Holster real/fake.
One for Jerry. Somewhat puzzling, but I'm not that familiar with late war time holsters. The WW1 type pattern is a bit weird.

WWI type construction with WWI placement of markings. I would be inclined to say that it is not original WWII.

Vlim, Charlie...Dang it! I always like to write fake as the 3 purple hearts given to John Kerry but in this case I can't say it!
It's a good 1911 German Luger holster. Condition is a tad marginal for me but it's real. I don't know why the seller says 1941? The date he shows is very plainly 1911 and the construction looks a bit strange back at the belt loops but nothing amiss. Jerry Burney

Thanks. That makes sense. A lot of these holsters are sold to people who construct WW2-dummies. They don't understand (or care for) the difference between one P08 holster or another. For a 1911-holster it's not that bad. Nor the price |
