Yet another mystery firearm..
Since the Gasser Montenegrin mystery was revealed.. (which was very impressing!)
It’s tempting to ask another question about a firearm of mine.. I have searched the internet, and only found this site; http://www.littlegun.be/arme%20belge...robar%20gb.htm The pistol is from Belgium and look like this: I got it for free along with a Luger I bought. The person who sold it claims that both the Luger and the Melior came from German soldiers surrendering in Norway in the end of WW2. So.. my question is.. where Melior pistols common during WW2? And where was they used? Collection item? thanks for reading

Yes.. they are quite different internal than other firearms! Specially the lock behind the rear sight, it unlocks the slide so that it can be taken apart very easy.
The inside kinda reminds me of Jennings .22lr, except the size and quality of metal. <img border="0" alt="[burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" /> (snow came today)

Ny friend's grandfather took a 7.65mm Melior pistol from a German soldier/officer here in Slovenia in 1945. I saw it decades ago, as a boy, but still remember the peculiar moving block at rear.

The soldiers probably got them straight from the factory and solidiers in Belgium during WW2, then to be spread troughout Europe and forgoten..
I once had a strange looking pocket revolver made in Belgium, the quality of it was VERY bad! So after that I have been some skeptical to Belgium firearms.. But the quality of this one looks to be ok. Looking forward to testing it some day
